Sharon Livingstone will discuss the Challenges of Aging and Ageism
Sharon is Chairman of the Board of the Cambridge Council on Aging whose vision is for Cambridge to be an Age Friendly Community. Their mission is to engage older adults and community organizations to identify issues, advocate and educate towards an age friendly community.
She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Cambridge & North Dumfries Community Foundation whose vision is to be a forever resource for community-building in Cambridge and North Dumfries. Their mission is to connect projects and ideas with resources that help our community thrive now and forever.
Sharon is currently also the Interim Board Chair of Cambridge Shelter Corporation, operator of The Bridges shelter. In the past, Sharon had worked with Ann Tinker at the Bridges for a period of about 10 years, as a volunteer and board member.
